My guess is that David Irvine has a pretty cool sense of humour. For his on-going series Re-Directed Art Irvine uses rejected, unwanted paintings and prints that he finds in thrift stores and yards sales and infuses them with new life. By adding new characters, often pop culture icons, the paintings are given a second chance. Sometimes he stays within the style of the original, but he might use a contrasting style to add that little extra. And even better, you can even own one if you like: TheGnarledBranch
