Bertha Boynton Lum (1869 – 1954) was an American artist and printmaker. In the early 20th century she travelled to Japan to learn the art of wood block printing. She would return often to the land of the rising sun and often used Japanese folklore as the subject of her prints. The bathroom is immaculate like a work of art, i dare not touch anything. The wall paper has a mother of pearl sheen, there are beautiful Japanese prints and a faint smell of Jasmine fills the space.
